CANADA'S FAVORITE FINE ART GALLERY
In the heart of Blue Mountain Village.
A small gallery with big expertise. Brights Gallery is dedicated to showcasing the best contemporary and traditional art by Canada's most talented artists.
We feature original paintings and sculptures from established and emerging Canadian artists that illuminate the spaces of our clients. We have close relationships with Canada's largest art agents and can draw from hundreds of artists to help clients find what they are looking for.
Most of our artists are recognized and awarded on a national and international level. We are proud to share their work with the world.
Today, we have more than 1500 works of art in our collection, and over 10,000 people visit us each year. We hope you are one of them.
OUR DEDICATED TEAM OF ART EXPERTS
Brights Gallery is owned by a Collingwood resident, Bill Shepherd, a Canadian art dealer with decades of experience and a keen understanding of contemporary Canadian art history. His constant surveying of art markets across the world and emerging artists in Canada provides our clients with pieces that turn heads.
Our team members, also Collingwood locals, are the heart of the gallery. They are comforting educators who help guide the voyage for our clients to select the perfect artwork.
WE AcknowledgE First Peoples & Traditional Territory
Grateful to explore this land
We acknowledge and share our gratitude to the First Nations, Metis and Inuit peoples of Canada. Blue Mountain is located within the boundary of Treaty 18 region of 1818 which is the traditional territory of the Anishnaabek, Haudenosaunee and Wendat-Wyandot-Wyandotte peoples.
Over 500 years ago, the First Nations welcomed us to share this land now called Ontario. We are grateful to explore and play on Blue Mountain and thank all those who were and are caretakers of this beautiful area. We are also mindful of the broken covenants and the need to reconcile with all our allies and relations.
Let us listen, discover, and care for this land by learning from our mutual history. As benefactors of thousands of years of Indigenous stewardship, we are privileged to share the beauty of Blue Mountain and are responsible for ensuring its sustainability for generations to come.
This acknowledgment was written with an understanding that we are still learning. Thank you for your support, patience and willingness to learn and grow with us.
